collects and does today. It still needs a lawyer's review, your registered business details filled
in below, and a named Grievance Officer (required under India's IT Rules) before it's published.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how [Registered Business Name] ("Sellflu", "we", "us"), the
operator of Sellflu and the sellflu.com/sellflu.in domains, collects and uses information from:
- Shop owners and staff who use the Sellflu admin portal and billing counter ("your account")
- Customers of a Sellflu shop who receive an invoice, khata reminder, or view a shop's online storefront

2. What we collect
From a shop owner or staff member who registers:
- Mobile number and/or email address, used to verify your account with a one-time code (OTP)
- Shop details you enter — business name, address, GSTIN, logo, shop type
- Business records you create — products, stock, invoices, purchases, suppliers, and customer khata entries
- Payment history when you buy a plan or top up notifications, processed through Razorpay (see Section 4)
- Basic activity information — pages visited and actions taken in the app — which we use to fix confusing screens and to help our support team see exactly where you got stuck if you ask for help
- Device and error information if something goes wrong, so we can diagnose it without needing a detailed bug report from you
From a shop's customer, only what the shop enters or what the customer submits directly: name, mobile number, and — if they order from a storefront — a delivery address and a one-time login code.
3. How we use it
- To run your billing, inventory, GST, and customer khata records
- To send invoices, payment reminders, low-stock alerts, and order updates by WhatsApp, SMS, or email — only for the notification types you've turned on
- To verify your identity at registration, login, and password reset with a one-time code
- To provide guided setup and support, including a support agent temporarily operating your account in a time-boxed, logged "setup mode" session if you ask for help — never without your action to start it, and every such session is recorded in your account's activity history
- To back up your records daily and let you download your own data on demand
- To meet GST and other legal record-keeping requirements
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share the minimum necessary with:
- MSG91 — to deliver WhatsApp and SMS messages you or Sellflu send
- Razorpay — to process plan payments and wallet top-ups; Sellflu never sees or stores your card/UPI credentials, only Razorpay's confirmation that a payment succeeded
- Our cloud hosting provider, to store your data on servers we operate
- Law enforcement or regulators, only if legally required to
5. How long we keep it
Business records (invoices, ledgers) are kept for as long as your account is active and for as long as GST law requires afterward. Deleted records go to a "Recently deleted" area for 30 days before being permanently removed, so an accidental delete can always be undone in time.
6. Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in securely (httpOnly, so no script — ours or anyone else's — can read it). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your choices
- Download a copy of your shop's data any time from Shop Settings
- Turn individual notification types (WhatsApp/SMS/email) on or off from Shop Settings
- Ask us to close your account and delete your data, subject to what GST law requires us to retain
8. Children
Sellflu is business software for shop owners and staff, not intended for use by children.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll let registered shop owners know by email, SMS, or WhatsApp before it takes effect.
